Seven Scribes described Stephen J. Grant’s documentary as “an African-American writer and filmmaker’s journey to connect with Afro-Brazilians over shared roots”.
Afro Brasil was filmed and edited by Stephen J. Grant in São Paulo, Brazil. This film features interviews with visual artist Moisés Patricio, communications professional Priscilla Fonseca, entrepreneurs Danilo Vitorino & Ana Paula Xongani, educator Tatiane Pereira De Souza, and University of São Paulo student Lucas Nascimento.
